FOREVER Bury, the Bury FC Supporters' Society hold their first major fund-raising event this Sunday.
The first "Forever Bury Duck Race" will take place at the Burrs Country Park Duck Course and it promises to be fun for all the family.
The owner of the first plastic duck past the post will receive the sum of £500, with five runners-up prizes of VIP days out to any Bury FC home league game for two people also on offer.
A fun day with loads of activities and kids' entertainment has also been planned at the Brown Cow at Burrs where the trust's very own ale - aptly named Forever Bury - can also be sampled.
Ducks are available at a cost of £2 each from Asda Marketside on Friday and Saturday this week and will be available on the day.
The fun starts at 12 noon, while the race itself begins at 2pm.
