BLACKBURN Rovers' two Academy sides kicked off the new season today with a double-header against Leicester at Brockhall.
But, if fans were a little confused by the fact that coaches Ian Miller and Rob Kelly appeared to be watching the games from the wrong dugouts, then don't panic because there's a logical explanation.
Last season, Kelly was in charge of the Under 17s while Miller looked after the Under 19s.
However, as part of a mini backroom reshuffle over the summer, the two have now swapped jobs in preparation for the new campaign.
Pick of the bunch
LAST week's 0-0 draw with Sunderland might have been slightly disappointing after all the hype surrounding the start to the new season.
But two members of Rovers' starting line-up on the day still made the Opta Index team of the week for their performances against the Black Cats.
Nissa Johansson and Lucas Neill, pictured, both made the team for their performances at the back as Rovers chalked up a welcome clean sheet.
