THE Lancashire Evening Telegraph have teamed up with Pie Innovations and Blackburn Rovers to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a limited edition signed picture depicting the club's Worthington Cup triumph.
As we revealed in last week's Ewoodbeat, images from that magical day at the Millennium have been captured in subtle pencil sketches by the UK's number one pencil artist, Christopher Burns, who was specially commissioned for the project.
The stunning piece also includes a full list of statistics captured in gold foil charting Rovers progress right to the final, detailing everything from team line-ups to goal scorers.
And to make the work even more special, Rovers boss Graeme Souness, last season's leading scorer Matt Jansen and former England ace Andy Cole will personally sign each of the 320 prints in gold pen.
We have one of the pictures to give away and the winner of our competition will get the chance to meet Graeme, Matt and Andy in person.
All you have to do to have a chance of owning a piece of history is answer the following question.
Who scored the winning goal for Rovers in last season's Worthington Final victory over Tottenham?
Send your answers, complete with your name, address and telephone number, to: the sports desk, the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, Newspaper House, High Street, Blackburn, BB1 1HT.
The closing date for entries is Friday September 13, 2002.
Normal Newsquest Rules apply and the editor's decision is final.
For those of you not lucky enough to win our competition, you can still buy a copy of the limited edition print which would make an ideal Christmas gift.
Only 320 have been printed and they will be priced at £249.95 (plus £15.00 pp).
They can be purchased over a 6-month period with an initial deposit of only £14.95 followed by five further installments of £50.00 per month.
Call Pie Innovations on 01457-829533 to order yours now (24 Hour Hotline) or send cheques to: Pie Innovations 54 Springmeadow Lane, Uppermill, Sadddleworth, Lancs. OL3 6HH.
