POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two people were injured in a car smash.
The accident occurred in Whalley Road, Great Harwood, outside a Texaco fuelling station.
Gail Benson, 54, of Queen Street, Whalley, who was driving a black Honda Civic and her passenger Marjorie Smith, 75, were taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary suffering from whiplash.
The car was in collision with a white Land Rover Discovery driven by Peter Crooke, 52, of Broadfield, Oswaldtwistle.
