ORGANISERS of this year's Worsthorne village carnival say the event was a huge success -- despite the rain.
Attractions at the event included helicopter and flying exhibitions, bird of prey displays, various attractions and live music.
To keep children entertained there was a kiddies roundabout, bouncy castles, candy floss and hook-a-duck.
An auction featured three signed footballs and an autographed shirt from Burnley Football Club.
Organiser Bob Mallet, from the Friends of Worsthorne and Hurstwood, said all the proceeds would go to support village schemes.
