PUB goers are set to bounce into action to raise money for charity.
A 200-foot crane will be taking pride of place in the car park of the Brewers Arms in Thwaites Road, Oswaldtwistle, for adrenaline seeking bungee jumpers, on September 16.
And all the money raised in excess of the minimum £40 fee will go the Lancashire Evening Telegraph Magic Eye Scanner Appeal.
Rhona Calverley, a partner in the Bungee Extreme Road Show, said the "adrenaline buzz" was sure to get people interested in fundraising.
"It is a brilliant way to raise money.
"It is one of the most exciting things you can do. We never get any dissatisfied people -- only those who say they will never do it again!"
But Sharon Mellor, landlady at the Mitchells owned pub, admits she will not be taking the giant leap.
"There's not a chance" she said. "I would be far too scared and I don't like heights.
"But we organised a similar event about three years ago which was a huge success and we are determined to break our record of 15 jumpers that time round."
Jumps will take place between 6 and 8pm.
Sponsorship forms are available from Sharon on 01254 236 298 or Rhona on 01538 300528.
