EDNA Hargraves walked down the aisle pregnant aged 16 -- and 50 years later the children still haven't stopped coming in her family!
Now with husband Leonard, 71, she has celebrated their golden wedding with a barbecue for her ever-expanding family of six children, 20 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The couple (left), who live in Birch Hall Avenue, Darwen, met through Leonard's sister and had been dating for 12 months when they were married at Haslingden Registry Office. First child Gordon was born soon after and was followed by Ian, 49, Melvin, 42, Karen, 41, Stewart, 40 and Gillian, 38.
Leonard supported his family by working in care homes as a handyman, while Edna took on many cleaning jobs, the most recent being at Crown Paints, Darwen.
Edna revealed the secret of their long marriage: "We have had our rows and arguments, but we have always worked together," she said.
