PRESTON North End were 4-3 victors over Stoke in a thriller at Deepdale.
Craig Brown's side snatched the points five minutes into injury time when striker Richard Cresswell claimed a brilliant solo winner after the Potters had clawed their way back from 3-1 down.
"I have to admit, I thought we had lost it towards the end," said Brown. "We can't keep giving three goals away."
Clive Clarke gave Stoke an early lead from the penalty spot but two strikes from David Healy and another from Fuller put North End in front.
Stoke pulled level as Clarke added a second penalty and then Andy Cooke looked to have rescued a point, only for Cresswell to have the final say.
THIRD division Bury collected a useful away point as they drew 1-1 at Hull City.
Simon Johnson had handed the Tigers a first half lead, but an impressive finish from Pav Abbott in the 63rd minute salvaged the point for the Shakers.
