A BUSINESSMAN has unveiled plans to transform a former mill into a business and arts centre.
One floor of Elm Street Mill, in Stoneyholme, has already been converted into a prestigious furniture gallery, but Burnley entrepreneur, Mo Khan is looking to expand. Mr Khan wants to turn the mill into a thriving centre where thousands visit every year.
He has been assisted in his quest by the Burnley Enterprise Trust and the Asian Business Federation.
The furniture already on sale at the mill is hand crafted at one of Pakistan's oldest furniture makers and has been sold all over the world.
Mr Khan said: "I am hoping that more stores will stock our furniture and that local people will buy direct."
