GENEROUS regulars at an East Lancashire pub left customer Dot Main with a major headache when she had her head shaved to raise cash.
Dot decided she wanted to send a wreath in memory of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman to Soham in Cambridgeshire.
But customers at the Railway Hotel in Darwen donated £228 last night in a moving tribute to the schoolgirls.
Landlady Julie Cort said: "Everyone was so generous we'll have to decide now how best to use all the money.
"We'll probably make a donation to charity as well."
Dot only came up with the idea of surrendering her locks when she visited the Railway Road local on Sunday night.
"We were amazed when we raised so much money so quickly," Julie added.
