YOUNGSTERS at Darwen Leisure Centre enjoyed a 'Hit It' day organised by Blackburn with Darwen Council and Youthworks.
More than 30 teenagers took to the courts for netball and football as well as to the gym and swimming pool.
And there was a 'Scrub Up Good' stand for hair styling and make-up services for the less energetic.
Mick Lyons, organiser at the centre, said: "All the activities were health and fitness related and to promote issues that are in the media at the moment, so it is really all positive.
"The children go for activities like this and it was a great event for the end of a very successful summer programme."
The 'Ready Or Not' scheme was also promoted on the day, with several children having chance to find out more about virtual reality dolls and life as a parent.
