COLNE cruised to victory over Castleton Gabriels to record their first three points of the NWCL Division Two campaign.
John Lister's men dominated proceedings and even prior to Andy Banner's opener on 14 minutes, Colne rattled the woodwork and had two efforts cleared off the line.
After the break Castleton had a brief spell of pressure but their hopes were effectively killed off on 54 minutes as George Craddock cut in from the left to fire the ball home.
With centre-half Gareth West back in action, Colne's defence along with keeper Ross Baxter was rarely troubled and two minutes from time ex-Chorley man Andy Ramskill sealed the points with a glorious curler into the top corner.
"That was easily our best performance so far," said mamager John Lister.
"We played some delightful football, scored three great goals, and if we can reproduce our home form on the road, then I'm sure we'll have a great season."
