HOLIDAYMAKERS returning from European destinations are finding an increasing number of places to spend their leftover holiday euros.
Euro-MP Chris Davies has welcomed the development as a means of helping people avoid hefty commissions charged by banks and tour operators for converting euros back into sterling.
He says the region's residents can spend them in shops including Dorothy Perkins and at Chester Zoo and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
I'm sorry to say I've checked and they can't spend them at the Leigh branch of DP - not yet anyway.
