ATHERTON LR picked up their first win at Newcastle Town since 1993 with a hard-working performance.
They took the lead in the 10th minute from Chris Arnold but had to wait until second half injury time to add to the score after Newcastle had been reduced to 10 men, Woodvine sent off for a second bookable offence.
Dave Wallis claimed the second before Martin Kelly hit the third five minutes into added time.
