BUSTER Bloodvessel and the boys rolled back the years with a vintage display as Blackburn enjoyed one of the best party nights in years.
The larger-than-life frontman gave his all in the name of entertainment displaying a barely credible amount of stamina as the sweat poured from him.
All the hits were there including Lorraine, Special Brew and Lip Up Fatty plus a number of great covers -- including a magnificent Ska version of Deep Purple's Black Night.
Somehow they crammed a six-piece band (including a three-piece brass section) plus the man himself on to the small stage. But they didn't let the lack of space stop them from putting on a show.
It was just a shame that there weren't more there to enjoy a great night -- the gig fell victim to Bank Holiday Monday apathy.
But if you weren't there, that was your loss. You missed out on a fantastic time.
BAD MANNERS
