A MAN assaulted by two thugs outside a snooker club has returned to his Accrington home after three weeks in hospital.
Dennis Shaw, 32, spent time on a ventilator at Royal Preston Hospital.
He sustained serious head injuries in the attack outside Imran and Nathan's Snooker and Leisure Club in Accrington.
Mr Shaw lives in Kingston Avenue with his partner Jennifer Wilson, 33, and their two children.
Police said he was still on medication and would remain an out-patient at Queen's Park Hospital, Blackburn.
Mr Shaw had been found by a passer-by who called an ambulance and stayed with him as he lay on the ground.
A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with the attack and released on police bail.
