DRESS to impress will be the theme of a special workshop to be staged in Bury for local businesswomen.
Members of Mosaic, a corporate women's forum for those working in Bury and Bolton, will be taking part in an "image workshop" at the Village Hotel. The workshop, to take place on September 20 between 2pm and 5pm, is being sponsored by Business Link and there will be a small charge.
Specifially designed for women, the workshop will involve presentations and practical sessions on dressing to impress, using the right colours and accessorising effectively, advice on hair care and cosmetics.
If any Bury business is in the image industry and would like to contribute to the day, please contact Mosaic's events organiser Jenny Matthews on 01204 885518.
This month's Mosaic meeting was staged at the Bolholt Country Park Hotel in Bury. After an informal lunch, Mosaic founder chairman Angela Monkman-Brushett gave a
fascinating insight into the work being done in Tanzania on education and gender development, particularly in the more remote areas of the country including the town in which she grew up.
