FYLDE's eight-year-old Charlotte Burke has completed a coast-to-coast walk for charity and is believed to be the youngest ever to beat the 190-mile challenge.
Walking with her dad Doug, she has so far raised £500 for the Christian Charity Tearfund which is helping starving children in Malawi.
Immediately after the 12-day walk, Charlotte, of Rosemary Avenue, Thornton Cleveleys, enjoyed a traditional bag of chips, said her feet were fine and she may be able to walk even further.
"She has been full of energy . When we stayed at a farm she was running round looking at the animals," said Doug.
"Yesterday about, five miles from the end of the day, she went quiet but she was OK in the end.
"We have had some terrible weather and other people were dropping out like flies."
Sponsorship cheques should be made payable to Tearfund and should be sent to Charlotte at 7 Rosemary Avenue, Thornton Cleveleys, FY5 2RE.
