WHAT a world we live in when children can not pursue every day activities they enjoy -- with their friends --without the fear of being molested by some sadist.
However rare, the threat is always there.
Whatever makes these sad people tick beggars belief.
Indeed, a child's innocence is precious and should be guarded carefully.
Now I may be old fashioned but I honestly believe that the moral fibre of some individuals has reached an all time low when perverts abduct and murder young children for their own gratification. Our hearts are filled with sorrow at the evil that overtook Soham recently when two bonny girls were slain.
Our thoughts are with the families.
What horror and despair they must be suffering after this vicious and vile crime and what preceded their deaths.
If there is a God, surely these dear angels, Holly and Jessica, will be resting in heaven after their trauma.
For the present anyway, a little bit of sunshine has gone out of our life too.
