SO Blackburn's puffed-up prima donnas -- more commonly known as councillors -- have struck again.
No, not still more gridlock round the town.
No, not trying to make Church Street half decent by adding trees, not cars.
No, not trying to do something -- anything -- to Lord Square so that I don't have to blindfold my out-of-town visitors and guide them quickly through.
They have actually the audacity to try and close a deli on King William Street.
It is a clean and tidy shop, serving a good cup of coffee, etc. and breaking the boredom of a street full of banks and building societies.
They should climb down off their pedestals and do something good for Blackburn and, for crying out loud, stop wasting my council tax -- I can't afford it.
M HILTON (Mrs), Cornelian Street, Blackburn.
