A TAXI driver was cut free from his cab after it was involved in a collision with another car in Leigh.
Graeme Clifford, aged 57, was at the junction of Mobberley Way and St Helens Road outside Leigh Fire Station when the accident happened at about 9.15pm on Saturday.
Firefighters cut Mr Clifford free from his taxi and he was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital suffering from hip and leg injuries.
A couple who were passengers in the taxi walked away unharmed as well as the driver of the other car. Police are investigating the collision.
