FLAGS will be at half-mast tomorrow in honour of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11.
The union flag will be flown at half mast at Burnley and Padiham town halls, with Burnley Borough Council staff taking part in a one minute silence at 1.46pm -- the time the first plane struck one of the Twin Towers. Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council said it would also fly its flag outside the town hall at half-mast. The Bishop of Burnley, the Rt Rev John Goddard will conduct a service at the town's Peace Garden, starting at 10.30am. There will be an organ recital and service dedicated to victims at Blackburn Cathedral from 1pm.
