PEOPLE across East Lancashire will be able to sample some live jazz when a six piece Dixieland band plays at a number of pubs across the region.
The Pendle Jazzmen will appear at a number of pubs for one-off gigs or regular monthly appearances.
The Cock and Bottle, in Tarleton, will be the venue for the band on Thursday from 8.30-10.45pm.
The band will also appear at the Bull and Butcher pub, on Manchester Road, Burnley, on Thursday September 26 from 9-11.15pm and the last Thursday of each month.
The Royal Hotel, on Station Road, Great Harwood, will play host to the band on the first Friday of the month, starting on October 4 at 8.30pm.
The band will also play at the Whitchaff Inn, on Bury Road, Rawtenstall, every second and fourth Friday of the month.
This month the band will play on September 13 and September 27. Both evenings start at 9pm and admission is free.
Those attending the gigs will have the opportunity to pick up a copy of the band's recently released CD, recorded at the Whitchaff Inn.
It features both of the band's guest trumpet players -- Jim Wilkes and Ian Royle.
For more information about the CD or gigs phone Colin Mason on 01282 419417.
