ROBBERS snatched a woman's handbag containing her purse and mobile phone as she walked along Stanley Road, Whitefield.
Three men wearing baseball caps approached the 30-year-old from behind at 5.32pm yesterday near Whitefield Metrolink Station.
She was left shaken but unhurt. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact Whitefield CID on 0161 856 8212.
