Stan Ternen - "I AM very pleased that we have won for the first time at Turf Moor this season.
"Two wins in a row is a shot in the arm in terms of confidence, the players worked hard and it was a very good result.
"It was not a hard decision to keep the same side as they did particularly well in the second half at Derby.
"Blackpool weren't without chances in the second half after Macca changed to 4-4-2. You don't expect to go through games very often without the other team having chances but we had other good chances too."
Steve McMahon
"FOR 20 minutes in the second half we certainly took the game to them. We had a glorious opportunity to make it 1-1 through big Murph and goals change games.
"I would have loved to see what would have happened if we could have scored. They might have wobbled.
"But with the injury problems we have in defence we were putting square pegs in round holes.
"In the first 15 minutes Burnley started very well, they looked sharp and lively and maybe a few of our players were feeling sorry for themselves.
"But we got to grips with that, got to grips with the tempo and it was never a 3-0 scoreline. They probably deserved to win but we put in a good performance."
