A SLEEP-deprived teenager who caused a car smash has been given his second driving ban in three months.
Burnley Magistrates heard how production loader Daniel Nelson, 19, was banned for eighteen months at the end of June but the accident happened before them.
Nelson, of Bracewell Street, Nelson, admitted driving without due care and attention and was fined £50 and disqualified for six months.
Mark Irlam, defending, said Nelson accepted he was to blame for the accident. He had gone out the night before with friends and had little sleep.
If the cases had been dealt with together he may have been given penalty points.
