MORECAMBE Heritage Gala will take place this weekend on September 15, and promises to be a fun packed day for all the family.
The highlight for many people will be the fantastic Red Arrows, the spectacular Battle of Britain Memorial flight and stunning displays by other heritage aircraft, a tornado and a Tucano.
There will also be themed entertainment on the arena, under the Platform canopy and beside the Eric Morecambe statue.
Look out for 'Blondin' who will be recreating his death defying, amazing crossing of Niagara Falls, Matt Barnard, a highly skilled juggler and comedy street performer, and musical delights from the Red Rose Band, Bob Moffatt Quartet and Groovin' High Big Band.
Dancing performances from Lancaster's John O'Gaunt Morris Men and Lancashire's Ossie Cloggers complete the line up.
This event coincides with the annual Bradford to Morecambe vintage car run which will arrive in the resort from late morning onwards.
The cars will be on display along the Promenade and on the Platform forecourt.
It all starts atnoon!
