LEIGH'S multi storey car park is being radically altered as part of a crackdown on crime.
Vehicles cannot enter the car park from Bengal Street, access is from a new entrance at the rear of Leigh Town Hall entered via Back Salford or Newton Street off Railway Road. The exit is via Bengal Street only.
These changes have been put in place as a result of Police consultation and mean all vehicles entering and leaving the site do so under the surveillance of newly-installed CCTV cameras.
