A NEW specialist library aimed at helping young people has opened in Leigh.
People tackling fitness and personal development issues will have all the information they need at their fingertips.
Experts on Wigan Council's Healthy Schools and Drugs Education Team are urging teachers, medical workers, health professionals, youth workers and voluntary groups to take time out to examine the Prospect House facility in Church Street, which can also be used for seminars.
Over 1,000 resources, including books, videos, interactive games, CDs and resource packs can be studied on the spot or taken away.
The library, which will be constantly updated, will be open on Monday, Tuesday and Friday between 9am and 5pm and Wednesday and Thursday between 9am and 7pm. The maximum session time will be between two and three hours. Ring Jo Duggan on 01942 777720.
