A SCHOOLBOY football fan was 'Rover the Moon' when Blackburn hero Matt Jansen gave him a signed ball during a presentation night.
Ian Hargreaves, 13, who attends Our Lady and St John RC High School and lives in Shadsworth Road, Blackburn, was thrilled to receive the ball from the Premiership striker as part of the ceremony organised by the BRFC Education Department.
Ian and St Paul's RC pupil Carol-Ann Creane, 11, of Whalley New Road, Blackburn, picked up the main prizes of the night, awarded to the most-improved pupil in Maths and English during a nine-week learning through football programme attended by more than 20 schools in the Blackburn and Darwen area.
