BOWLING-mad newlyweds Denham and Sarah Jane Croden were on pins for their wedding day in more ways than one!
After being married at Bury Registry Office, they rolled along with guests for a reception at Bury Megabowl.
Once there, the smartly dressed party swapped champagne flutes for bowling balls to enjoy a smashing time on the alleys.
And the couple, of Bank Street, Radcliffe, arrived in appropriately unusual style, aboard a public bus!
United Utilities employee Denham (38) and hairdresser Sarah (23) are both regulars at the Megabowl.
Denham's mother, Mrs Cindy Croden, of Park Lane, Whitefield, said: "They decided that they wanted to be different and they certainly were.
"We knew about the bowling already, but what surprised us was that they caught the bus on their wedding day.
"Some people thought it was all a silly idea, but it all went off really well."
