BURY actress Lisa Riley was well and truly in the frame to commemorate a recycling initiative which has already raised a groundbreaking £500,000 for charity.
Lisa, who presents TV's popular You've Been Framed, made a guest appearance at Tesco to celebrate the company's successful mobile phone recycling scheme.
During her visit, Lisa met Cedric the friendly dragon who is mascot of children's charity NCH, one of the beneficiaries of the scheme.
Lisa, a NCH celebritity supporter, said: "I'm delighted to support such a fantastic scheme that not only helps the environment but also helps to raise vital funds for charity."
Launched last year, Tesco was the first retailer to spearhead a mobile phone recycling project which requires only the handsets and does not depend on an exchange or accompanying charger and instruction manual. For every handset recycled, customers can choose for £5 to be donated to one of three benefiting charities, NCH, Cystic Fibrosis Trust or the Alzheimers Research Campaign.
