MEMBERS of Rosegrove Action Group have a weekend holiday to give away in a raffle.

The trip for two people to the New Marlborough Hotel on the seafront at Blackpool was donated by an ex-Burnley/Rosegrove resident.

The holiday is for two nights from Friday until Sunday breakfast, subject to availability at time of booking.

Raffle tickets will be on sale price £1 per ticket and can be obtained from Bird's chippy, Birkin's butchers or the RAG shop at 12 Lowerhouse Lane.

THE council has received an application for listed building consent to construct a service station building to provide toilet and shower facilities and provision of walkway and mounted CCTV camera at the British Waterways building in Lowerhouse Lane.

ROSEGROVE youth club on Sycamore Avenue has a few vacancies for membership after the huge success they had on their open night.

Call in on Wednesday at 7pm and see the staff for more information, don't hesitation or you will be too late.

THE harvest festival services at Greenbrook Church will be held on Sunday, September 29, at 9.30am and 6pm.

Help is required from any volunteers who have time to help decorate the church on Saturday afternoon, September 28.

Help will also be required to distribute the fruit and flowers on Sunday after the evening service.
