The Shakers face one of their longest trips of the season when they travel to Dean Court,Bournemouth, knowing that they haven't won there in 20 years, but bouyed by the fact they are on a 6 match unbeaten run. The last two games have seen the previously much criticised Bury defence hold out in the most intimidating of circumstances and expectations will be high that at least a point will be brought home from the long trip.

The Shakers have defended resolutely in recent games and played some glorious attacking football to the delight of their small but fanatical bunch of supporters.

Full back Jamie Stuart is almost certain to miss the game,as is Lee Unsworth following the midweek victory against a very aggressive Stoke City. Youngster Matty Barrass is expected to return at right back with veteran Steve Redmond returning to sweeper and Colin Woodthorpe moving to left back.

Good news for the Shakers faithful is that the impressive midfield ball player Terry Dunfield has been allowed by Man City manager Kevin Keegan to continue his loan spell at Gigg Lane. The Bury faithful will be disappointed should the lads not bring at least a point home on saturdy evening.
