A PIPER, joiner and folk group will come under the hammer at an unusual school auction.
Visitors to the All Saints' Primary School, Golborne, event on September 20 will bid for their services at 7.30pm in Golborne Sports and Social Club.
The Pledges, Promises and Services auction-with-a-difference will see 57 mixed contributions up for grabs.
These include the services of the piper and group to play at events of the winning bidders' choices, along with the half day use of a chippy.
Also on offer is the use of a gardener and cleaner and the chance to make a will, paintings by local artists and signed balls from Wigan Athletic, Wigan RLFC, and Liverpool.
A Manchester United season ticket holder has also forfeited his seats at one match to go into the auction and All Saints' now disused school piano will also go under the gavel.
Tickets are £1 including refreshments and are available from school by ringing 01942 747654.
