TYLDESLEY Brass Band is staging a celebration concert next month to mark its 125th anniversary.
The Band, directed by Mr Steven Booth, will host the October 6 concert which will feature an array of talent at Atherton Formby Hall.
Special Guests include the conductor Dr Roy Newsome, Mark Wilkinson and Gl;yn Williams -- principal cornet and solo euphonium players with Fodens Band, solo horn Sheona White and flugel horn Iwan Williams both members of the Yorkshire Building Society Band.
Tickets to the concert which starts at 7.30pm cost £6 (OAP/concessionary £4.50). More details from 01942 871744.
