ADULTS are invited to discover the joys of lifelong learning at a special open session this weekend.
Bury Arts and Crafts Centre throws open its doors on Saturday (Sep 14) for visitors to look at displays of students' work.
A series of demonstrations and "have-a-go" sessions has been arranged to show the wide variety of activities that are available through the council's lifelong learning classes.
Councillor Steve Perkins, executive member for lifelong learning, said: "Visitors will have the opportunity to enrol for courses that are being held at the Arts and Crafts Centre, and information will also be available about what is going on at our other centres in the borough.
"Enrolment for the coming term is going well, but there are still places available in a range of subjects. So, if you have thought about taking part in an activity or event and would like to find out more, this weekend is your chance."
The Arts and Crafts Centre is in Broad Street, Bury, and is open on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
