A 13-YEAR-OLD boy who caused a £3m retail park blaze is still awaiting sentence.
The teenager had been due to be told his fate yesterday at Burnley Crown Court but there was no pre-sentence report. He was bailed to October 18 by Judge Raymond Bennett.
The defendant, from Accrington, had recently been convicted by a jury of arson after a week-long trial.
The court had been told the youth started the blaze, which ripped through three stores on the Eastgate Retail Park, in summer last year.
The boy had lit a crisp packet and put it into plastic crates but told the jury he had just been melting it.
