I DROVE to Blackburn on Friday (September 6) for the sole purpose of signing Ian Finch's petition (LET, September 5).
I think the deli bar adds a much-needed touch of class to King William Street.
It reminds me of the cafes I have enjoyed while living and travelling on the continent.
I fail to see why Blackburn with Darwen Council wish to close the cafe while allowing fast-food outlets, namely KFC and McDonalds, plus a hot dog stand, to operate in King William Street.
