YOUNG Daniel Thornton is following in his brothers' footsteps on the road to golfing glory.
And just to prove that fact the fifteen-year-old St Gabriel's pupil recently won the Lancashire Under-15 boys championship.
Daniel, who plays off a handicap of five, is a regular member of the both Lowes Park junior and senior teams and forms a formidable trio with brothers Mark, a one-handicapper and Matthew who plays off two.
He finished first with best gross score in front of a limited field of 60 in the county championship held at Penwortham Golf Club near Preston.D1645/21a
