NEARLY a quarter of a million pounds is to be spent on floodlighting Blackburn town centre's 'best-looking buildings' (LET, September 4). Might there be a few spare for a couple of jam jars and candles to add a bit of extra sparkle to Darwen Tower and India Mill chimney?
