THERE is more linking Millwall's Christophe Kinet and Burnley's Lennie Johnrose than the fact they are both left footed midfielders.
The two men both had uncertain summers having been released by their clubs, Kinet having trials with Luton and Wimbledon while Johnrose was offered a contract by Blackpool.
But after the two clubs had poor starts to the season they were both invited to go back to their former employers and earn a long term deal.
Neither player was a regular last season, Kinet making 17 appearances in the League for the Lions while Johnrose played just six times.
He has already played five times this time around and he could carry on alongside Tony Grant in centre midfield if Paul Weller fails to recover from his groin strain.
Johnrose has only initially come back to Turf Moor on a one month contract but the lack of options in midfield would suggest he has a chance of staying when that deal runs out later this month.
Kinet was on the verge of signing for Wimbledon when he was offered the chance of signing a year-long deal at the New Den, albeit on greatly reduced wages in comparison to last year.
