BLACKBURN ROVERS boss Graeme Souness will open the 15th annual blind golf international between England and Scotland at Pleasington golf club tomorrow morning.
But he will not be supporting the England team - he is the honorary captain of the Scotland side!
Former England rugby union captain Bill Beaumont - who is from Chorley - is the honorary captain of the England side and he will also be there to see the tournament tee off at 9.15am tomorrow.
Darwen's Andy Gilford, one of England's top blind golfers, will captain the home nation for the event.
The tie, which Gilford has dubbed 'Blind golf's Ryder Cup' takes place over three days: foursomes tomorrow, fourball on Thursday and singles on Friday.
The meetings between the two countries always throw up intense - if friendly - rivalry and from 15 ties, each country has won six apiece.
England will be hoping to edge their noses in front on their home turf this week.
