A CAR mechanic's garage which suffered thousands of pounds of damage after an electrical fault caused a fire is set to relocate.
One unit of Calverley's Premier Garage in Robert Street was destroyed by fire last week and the other was severely damaged.
Alan Caverley, 49, who owns the business, today said: "With a bit of luck we will be back to business as usual next Monday."
The businessman hopes to secure a unit in the town's Waverledge Business Park for the garage to operate from until the Robert Street site can reopen. Insurance assessors are still calculating the full extent of the damage.
