YOUNGSTERS are urged to use a new sex health clinic launched in Darwen for the under-25s.
The weekly clinic runs for two hours on a Wednesday from 3.30pm at Knott Street Community Centre and is staffed by trained medics who will also provide advice to young people.
Spokeswoman Sylvia Cullen said: "In the past, youngsters had to travel into Blackburn to places like the Brook Advisory Centre if they didn't want help from a doctor.
"We are working to reduce teenage pregnancies and if confidential advice and support is available regularly in Darwen, we can certainly help in the reduction."
