ROSSENDALE Council's art unit is banging the drum to raise support for a new Samba band. Novices, experts and anyone interested in joining are invited to attend a series of evening sessions at Haslingden High School. The sessions are due to start in October.
Arts development Officer Elaine Wilson, said: "We have had a slow but good response. Quite a few have said they are interested. Anyone can come along. People who have never done anything like this before, or experts, any age can join in."
