A COCKTAIL of lethal drugs has been stolen in a burglary at a chemist in Bury.
A gang disabled an alarm at the Medicare Chemist in Parr Lane, Unsworth, and stole a large amount of medication from a controlled medicine cabinet.
The drugs included methadone, morphine, temazepam tablets, and the heroin substitute subutex.
Det Con Chris Jameson, of Whitefield CID, said: "Some of the drugs are in tablet form, others are liquid, but they are all potentially lethal.
"I would urge anyone who finds any tablets or bottles of liquid to telephone the police."
Anyone with information on the burglary, which took place between 6pm on Monday and 8.15am yesterday, should contact police on 0161 856 8212 or Crime-stoppers on 0800 555 111.
