MY husband and I have a wonderful 42-year-old daughter. She has given us a superb son-in-law and three fantastic grandchildren.
As a nurse, she has spent the last 24 years helping people -- truly, a daughter to be proud of!
However, if the car driver who hit her as she ran into the road 35 years ago had been breaking the speed limit her Dad and I would have had 35 years of 'what ifs' not the 35 years of pride and pleasure that she has given us.
Speed limits do save lives. Only idiots carp about limits and cameras. A car driver is in change of a lethal weapon and should act with responsibility.
