WITH Andy Cole set to be missing tonight, all eyes will be on Ciccio Grabbi who could make his first start of the season as his replacement alongside Dwight Yorke.
Grabbi has had to wait patiently for his chance since he returned from a loan spell in Italy in the summer.
But he showed signs that he could be ready to make a bigger impact than he did last season when he came on and grabbed a late equaliser against Liverpool recently.
Neither Grabbi nor Yorke like to lead the line, with both tending to do the majority of their best work outside the box.
So that will place even greater emphasis on the likes of David Dunn to make some thrusting runs beyond the front two if Rovers are to travel to Bulgaria with a first leg advantage.
CSKA, meanwhile, will aim to soak up the pressure and hit Rovers on the break, knowing an away goal could hold the key to going through.
South African World Cup star Makdonald Mukasi may therefore be used as a loan striker up front by manager Stoicho Mladenov.
