A GLITTERING karaoke night ended up with a father of three waltzing off with a Walls Ice Cream sign.
Burnley Magistrates heard how Ian Landers, 26, was drunk and threw the sign to the floor when told to put it back by police.
Landers, of White Grove, Colne, who admitted being drunk and disorderly and possessing cannabis was given a 12 months conditional discharge and must pay £50 costs.
The court was told the defendant, who had glitter on his face, was seen carrying the sign in the early hours. Landers immediately put it down when police asked him to. He would say he had not been abusive or insulting to the officer.
